FAQ
What is Bouldering?
Bouldering is rock climbing stripped down to its rawest form. Leaving behind ropes and harnesses, climbers need only climbing shoes and a bag of chalk. The challenge is to climb short, but tricky bouldering "problems" (a route of a sequence of moves) using balance, technique, strength + strategy. Bouldering is not only a hobby, but a lifestyle. This full body workout will push you to new fitness levels. You can make it as hard or easy as you decide. No matter what level you are, there's a route for you.

Do I need climbing shoes to climb?
No, but it makes an incredible difference in your experience. Imagine playing basketball on a wood court and you had to use metal cleats. The difference in performance would be extremely noticeable.
